Mary Poppins Balloons was established in 1996 and is a family run business. What began as a small balloon decorating business operating from a kitchen, has now rapidly expanded.
We now have our very own party shop in Teignmouth where you can browse our party goods or schedule a face to face consultation where we can discuss your ideas/designs and show colour options.
Our mission is to provide our customers with the highest standard of quality and professionalism to make any event a happy and memorable celebration. We constantly keep up with new trends, products, and designs to be the best.

The majority of our corporate collection displays are made from biodegradable latex. We’re always happy to guide our clients towards a more sustainable option.

BIRTHDAYS AND CELEBRATIONS
Balloons can add the wow factor to any party, whether you want to fill an entire venue for that elaborate surprise party or just a few bouquets for a small gathering at home.
CHILDREN'S PARTIES AND EVENTS
There is no doubt that most children enjoy balloons immensely! We specialise in children’s themed parties and celebrations from baby showers, gender reveals and birthdays to christenings.

Simply place your order online, select a date and time for collection and pick them up from our party shop in Teignmouth, Devon.
Environment
Latex balloons are 100% biodegradable and take the same amount of time to decompose as an oak leaf. It is possible to dispose of balloons at landfall sites. The most common type of helium used in balloons is Grade 4 (the lowest purity), while Grade 6 is used for medical purposes. We do not support balloon releases; due to the associated negative environmental Impacts they present. Mary Poppins Balloons is a UK member of the Pro Environment Balloon Alliance.

Balloon Care
Keep your balloons looking good for as long as possible by following these steps.
- Balloons are delicate, please handle with care and do not squash, pummel, or drag them.
- Keep your balloons away from sharp edges or next to open windows and doors etc.
- Keep balloons away from unsupervised children and pets.
- Helium expands in the heat and contracts in cold temperatures; this can cause a decline in the products float time and/or cause the balloon to deflate or burst.

To maximise float times
- Keep balloons away from direct sunlight e.g., in conservatories, in front on windows, in cars etc.
- Keep away from warm places i.e., next to heat sources.
- Avoid very low temperatures e.g., storing in the garage or a car overnight etc.
- Keep your balloons at a consistent room temperature.
